The Role

We're currently recruiting a Project Manager within our Stadium Operations team to help us take things to the next level.

About You

  • Own and deliver the multi discipline pipeline of projects as identified in risk register, property upgrades and enhancements.
  • Manage a 15-year FMR, always seeking innovative and market leading solutions.
  • Ensure project compliance and QHSE regulations and standards are maintained consistently across and where possible exceed industry standard.
  • Building relationships across multiple club stakeholder and supply partners to deliver major projects.
  • Assist FM team and other department stakeholders with extra works/ remedial work deliverables.

What you will bring

  • Specify and deliver projects to completion on time and on budget to the satisfaction of all stakeholders, exceeding expectations wherever and whenever possible.
  • Ensure the provision of healthy and safe working conditions (Identify/ reduce/ manage) across PR/ EW subcontractors' activities, which are regularly reviewed on each project. This will include the timely delivery of a Health and Safety file for the works and full compliance with CDM regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with recognised project management policies and procedures.
  • Ensure that health and safety policy and process is effectively implemented across subcontractor and supply partner activities.
  • Provide and present reports, business cases and updates at key milestones to ensure project proposals are approved, communicated and managed.
  • Daily management of project trades -working closely with the FM Managers to ensure no works take place without adequate supervision and monitoring.
  • To direct, instruct and supervise all project contractors, ensuring compliance with working practices and procedures and limit impact to event day operations.
  • Work closely with operational managers/ HoD's/ affected stakeholders to ensure the collaborative development of the projects delivery with effective team working and support of colleagues.
  • Responsible for change control, insurance (including building fabric and services insurance claims) and BCO notifications and management related to project activities.
  • Develop and own a rolling 15-year (5 year detailed) FMR looking at MEP, fire/ life/ event safety systems, fabric and structural upgrades and replacements.
  • To build strong relationships with sub-contractors, partners, architects, and designers, to ensure cost effective solutions which meets our quality expectations can be delivered whilst managing the risk and ensuring back-to-back terms and conditions.
  • Firm understanding of reviewing and owning the updates of O&M's and schematics.

Skills & Experience

  • Preference to be educated to degree or HND level in an engineering discipline.
  • Recognised technical qualification in either a construction, mechanical or electrical discipline.
  • Recognised qualification in project management, including but not limited to

Prince 2 or equivalent

NEBOSH certificate

APMP

CDMc

  • Business standard of written and verbal literacy
  • Commercial awareness
  • Strong financial acumen
  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills
  • Ability to understand commercial and financial metrics.
  • Networking skills
  • Procurement and negotiation skills
  • Up to date knowledge of the construction market
  • CAD experience desirable
  • Broad understanding of construction Health and Safety law and legislation
  • Proven project management experience in either an M&E, FM, construction, or critical environment
  • Proven experience of running a P&L
  • Experience of creating, presenting, and managing of bids, tenders, and proposals.
