Job Description
This position is responsible for ensuring a safe and compliant work environment. The role involves strong cross-functional leadership, a hands-on approach, and the ability to evolve the safety culture within the company. Our client is a Swiss industrial player with several decades of expertise in high-precision technical components. The company stands out for its know-how, dynamic environment, and continuous culture.Responsibilities:You will be responsible for HSE measures for the site as well as risk analysis with the aim of reducing those risks. You will be in charge of the following tasks:- Health & Safety at Work - Develop, implement, and evolve policies and procedures - Conduct audits, inspections, risk analyses, and follow up on incidents/accidents and define actions and raise awareness (PPE, first aid, fire safety, hazardous products, etc.). - Ensure compliance with authorities, control bodies, and monitor regulatory developments. - Manage safety systems (alarms, fire, surveillance). - Handle regulatory and legal compliance. - Promote a continuous dynamic in all HSE processes.- Technical Services - Supervise a small team responsible for general maintenance. - Oversee the ongoing maintenance of infrastructures and technical compliance. - Coordinate work carried out with external parties. - Ensure waste management, including hazardous waste.- Safety Culture - Organize internal training related to safety. - Ensure HSE for new employees regarding drills and emergency procedures. - Strengthen the safety culture with other departments.Profile:- You have a background in Health & Safety at Work.- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role in an industrial environment in Switzerland.- In-depth knowledge of Swiss regulations and expertise in technical management of infrastructures.- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.- Effective leadership and strong hands-on approach.- Proactivity, prioritization skills, discretion, and PERCO knowledge is a plus.Conditions and Benefits:The company offers a dynamic, flexible, and rewarding work environment, with benefits and many initiatives promoting well-being and internal cohesion.
