Job Description
Sr. Salesforce Engineer, DSP Tech, Last Mile

We are seeking an experienced Sr. Salesforce Engineer to join our Last Mile DSP Tech team. The ideal candidate should have extensive knowledge of Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, and Community. In this role, you will design solutions combining out-of-the-box and custom development, mentor team members, and guide the implementation of Salesforce solutions for our clients. The candidate should have a proven track record in architecting and developing complex Salesforce solutions, adhering to best practices and industry standards.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Leading the design and development of Salesforce solutions, especially for Service Cloud and Sales Cloud.
  2. Collaborating with product managers and teams to deliver tailored solutions that meet business needs and improve user experience.
  3. Analyzing requirements for system enhancements and translating them into well-architected solutions leveraging Salesforce.
  4. Designing scalable solutions aligned with industry standards.
  5. Supporting system integrations within Salesforce, backend services, and AWS technologies.
  6. Staying updated on Salesforce features and recommending continuous improvements.
  7. Mentoring junior team members and fostering a learning environment.

About the team:

Amazon's Last Mile technology division develops software to optimize delivery operations across vendors, stations, and carriers, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery. As the business expands into new regions and delivery models, innovative scalable software solutions are essential.

Minimum qualifications:

  • 10+ years in technical leadership or consulting on large enterprise projects, especially in applications architecture.
  • 8+ years of Salesforce development experience with relevant certifications.
  • Deep knowledge of Salesforce architecture components, including sales and service clouds.
  • Proven team collaboration skills and excellent communication abilities.
  • Advanced skills in Salesforce configurations, triggers, Lightning, Apex, batch processes, and database design.
  • Experience with Salesforce data models, APIs, governor limits, and integrations using BULK/REST/SOAP APIs.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Salesforce certifications such as Certified Application Architect or Certified System Architect.
  • Background in web technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
