Oracle's Financial Services Legal team is a specialist group within the company's Legal Department that delivers strategic legal advice related to financial services regulatory matters. The team operates globally and focuses on monitoring, analyzing, and advising on regulatory developments, responding to proposals and consultations, supporting the implementation of regulatory-driven operational and policy changes, and addressing regulatory matters arising from Oracle's sales, marketing, and transactional activities.
We are seeking an experienced professional to join the Financial Services Legal team as a Program Manager. In this role, you will help Oracle address compliance matters arising under regulations that apply to Oracle as a service provider in the financial services space. You will facilitate systems and processes to support a robust regulatory compliance program.
Responsibilities- Managing processes and tools to support program goals
- Ensuring deliverables are accurate, timely and relevant
- Monitoring and tracking relevant regulatory requirements, compliance strategies, and implementation initiatives
- Collaborating cross functionally with teams including security, business practices, and operations to advance program goals
- Supporting onboarding, training and group activities of the team
- Assisting with team updates and preparing presentation and training materials
- Driving knowledge management and sharing activities
- Serving as a liaison with other divisions (Finance, Contracts, HR, Legal, Shared Services, Accounts Receivable, Purchasing, and Risk Management) to ensure accurate and timely transaction processing
- Collecting, inputting, verifying, correcting, and analyzing data to measure key performance indicators against business objectives
- Providing updates to management regarding budget versus actual, highlighting deviations and opportunities
- Communicating Oracle Business Practices and monitoring approval processes for full compliance
- Driving implementation of new processes and procedures
- Bachelor's degree and 4 5 years of relevant experience
- Outstanding project management and communication skills
- Experience with systems implementation and tooling
- Proficiency with common MS Office applications and AI tools
- Professional demeanor; confident and innovative
- Organized, detail oriented, and strong time management skills
- Strong problem solving and decision making abilities
- Ability to perform in a fast paced, evolving business environment
