Joining Moderna means advancing mRNA science to transform medicine. You will support advanced GxP manufacturing systems in Harwell, working with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure our automation platforms operate reliably, compliantly, and efficiently. You will play a pivotal role in operating cutting edge GxP manufacturing automation systems, leveraging platforms such as Aveva System Platform, Rockwell Automation ControlLogix, DeltaV, Syncade, Apprentice Tempo, and Aveva PI Historian.
Key Responsibilities- Troubleshoot complex issues across GxP Process Automation Systems, including DeltaV and Allen Bradley PLCs.
- Maintain and champion a culture of compliance, ensuring excellence in the design and ongoing operation of manufacturing systems.
- Provide technical leadership, coaching, and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering their development and supporting engineering excellence.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.
- 5 10 years of experience with process automation systems.
- Clear communication skills, conveying complex information to stakeholders.
- Flexibility to occasionally cover off hours, holidays, and weekends.
- Proficiency in IT networking and OT, with the ability to troubleshoot and optimize.
- Understanding of biopharmaceutical processes and equipment.
- Ability to quickly adapt and learn new skills and technologies.
