SQL Developer - Warminster - Site Based

6-Month Fixed Term Contract, with the potential to go permanent

£30,000 to £40,000 + Benefits

In this role, you will be responsible for the design, development, and delivery of reports and dashboards to support key business functions including manufacturing, sales, and compliance. Working on-site, you'll collaborate with stakeholders across different departments to understand requirements, create solutions, and maintain existing reports. This role requires someone who is comfortable with hands-on SQL development and enjoys being a trusted point of contact for reporting and data.

The Role and Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) reports and dashboards
  • Write and optimise SQL queries, stored procedures, and views
  • Work closely with stakeholders in sales, production, and quality to deliver reporting solutions
  • Maintain and enhance existing reports, ensuring accuracy, performance, and scalability
  • Support data governance and compliance by documenting processes and following security protocols

The Role:

The Person:

  • Experience in SQL development, with strong query writing and optimisation skills
  • Proven experience with SSRS report design and deployment
  • Strong knowledge of relational databases, particularly SQL Server
  • Experience creating dashboards and visualisations to support decision-making
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interpret business needs and translate into technical solutions
