Job Description
Overview

Are you a SQL developer who enjoys building reliable integrations that make data flow seamlessly between systems?

You'll be joining a growing software company in the education space, supporting universities across the UK and beyond. You'll design and maintain data interfaces that connect internal platforms to third-party services - making sure the right data gets where it needs to be, securely and accurately.

You'll work closely with consultants and technical teams to translate business requirements into SQL-based integrations, troubleshoot data issues, and document your work clearly.

Location

Location: Milton Keynes (hybrid - 2 days/week on-site)

Salary & Benefits

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000

Responsibilities
  • Design and maintain data interfaces that connect internal platforms to third-party services, ensuring data accuracy, security, and reliable delivery.
  • Translate business requirements into SQL-based integrations; troubleshoot data issues; document work clearly.
  • Collaborate with consultants and technical teams to ensure data flows meet stakeholder needs.
Qualifications
  • Strong SQL Server / T-SQL experience (stored procs, views, optimisation).
  • Experience building data interfaces (CSV, JSON, XML, SFTP, etc.).
  • Confident translating requirements into technical specs.
  • Good troubleshooting, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills.
  • Bonus if you've worked with REST APIs or in the education sector.
