£15,704 per annum (rising in the second year of the Apprenticeship to either match age requirements or National Minimum Wage)
A minimum of 40 hours per week
Fixed Term up to 24 months
About the Role- Assist the Sport Turf Team in the daily maintenance of all the sports turf pitches and surround areas
- Support the Team during annual pitch renovations
- Operate and maintain groundskeeping machinery and tools
- Work alongside experienced current staff and gain hands on experience
- Attend Pershore College as part of undertaking the Level 2 qualification in Sports Turf Operations
- Attainment of a Level 2 qualification in Sports Turf Operations at the end of the apprenticeship
- Hold a GCSE or equivalent in English & Maths (Grade 2-9 / E-A )
- An interest in sports turf and groundskeeping
- A flexible and adaptable approach to working
- Able to organise your time effectively and be able to use your own initiative
- Ability to work as part of a team
- You are reliable, punctual, approachable and friendly
