Job Description

£15,704 per annum (rising in the second year of the Apprenticeship to either match age requirements or National Minimum Wage)

A minimum of 40 hours per week

Fixed Term up to 24 months

About the Role
  • Assist the Sport Turf Team in the daily maintenance of all the sports turf pitches and surround areas
  • Support the Team during annual pitch renovations
  • Operate and maintain groundskeeping machinery and tools
  • Work alongside experienced current staff and gain hands on experience
  • Attend Pershore College as part of undertaking the Level 2 qualification in Sports Turf Operations
  • Attainment of a Level 2 qualification in Sports Turf Operations at the end of the apprenticeship
About You
  • Hold a GCSE or equivalent in English & Maths (Grade 2-9 / E-A )
  • An interest in sports turf and groundskeeping
  • A flexible and adaptable approach to working
  • Able to organise your time effectively and be able to use your own initiative
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • You are reliable, punctual, approachable and friendly
  • 25 days annual leave entitlement plus bank holidays rising to 30 days with length of service
