Schools across Newcastle upon Tyne are seeking Sports Science and coaching graduates to join their support teams as Learning Support Assistants.
Graduates with a background in sport often bring the energy, leadership and communication skills that schools value when supporting pupils both academically and pastorally. Your ability to motivate, set clear expectations and build rapport with young people makes a real difference in the classroom.
This role is particularly suited to those considering careers in teaching, PE, youth work, behaviour support or pastoral leadership.
Newcastle upon Tyne - £90 - £115 per day (PAYE) Full-Time Immediate Start
The RoleAs a Sports Graduate Learning Support Assistant, you will:
- Support pupils during lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Work 1:1 and in small groups with pupils who need additional support
- Help maintain focus and engagement during classroom activities
- Support pupils with SEND including ADHD, ASD and SEMH
- Encourage positive behaviour and teamwork
- Assist with intervention sessions or structured activities where needed
Your presence and leadership will help pupils stay motivated and engaged in learning.
