PRU Location: Chorley (PR7) Pay: £95-£105 per day, depending on experience Start Date: 23/03/2026 Are you a calm and resilient individual with a passion for sports?
OverviewWe are currently working with a pupil referral unit to recruit experienced sports coaches. This is an excellent opportunity for sports coaches to use this experience within a school setting, encouraging students to re engage in learning.
Responsibilities- Supporting pupils with SEMH needs on a 1:1 basis and in small groups, using your passion for sports to encourage re engagement
- Co ordinating fun and engaging activities for pupils
- Collaborating with teachers and parents to monitor progress
- Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)
- TeamTeach Level 2 is highly desired but training can be provided
- A passion for sports and delivering sports sessions
- A calm and resilient nature
- Excellent behaviour management skills
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate, registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional references
