In your role as a Speech Pathologist, you will have the opportunity to work with both adults and children, thereby making a significant difference in their communication and swallowing abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments and create personalized treatment plans for clients across various age groups.
  • Deliver evidence-based therapies and interventions for speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
  • Collaborate with a diverse team of healthcare professionals, including occupational therapists, psychologists, and physiotherapists, to provide comprehensive care for clients.
  • Educate clients and their families regarding communication strategies and therapy objectives.
  • Maintain precise documentation and progress notes in accordance with practice protocols.
  • Participate in continual professional development and foster a positive team environment.

Qualifications:

  • A recognised degree in Speech Pathology.
  • Current registration with the Speech Pathology Association of Australia (or equivalent).
  • Experience working with both adults and children is preferred, though new graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
