Work Days: School-year position following the district calendar; Five days per week; 7.25 hours per day
Salary Range: According to the terms of the Master Agreement for AFT
Starting Date: August 2026 or as soon as possible
Job ObjectiveThe Special Education Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) provides comprehensive speech-language pathology services to students with disabilities in the school setting. This position is dedicated to evaluating, diagnosing, and treating communication disorders that impact educational performance. The Speech-Language Pathologist collaborates with special education teams, general education staff, families, and community partners to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) that promote student communication development, academic success, and social-emotional well-being.
Qualifications Required- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an ASHA-accredited program is required.
- Certificates and/or licenses approved by the State of Michigan, LARA.
