Triple West Medical has been appointed by an NHS Trust based in South West England to help recruit a Specialty Doctor in Rheumatology for a long term FTC or substantive position. This is a fantastic opportunity with career development including CERS support.
The NHS organisation is an integrated Trust providing community, acute and specialist care across a number of sites. With over 7,000 staff, they oversee a population of around 700,000 people and work closely with nearby NHS Trusts.
RoleThey are now looking to appoint an enthusiastic and dynamic Specialty Doctor in Rheumatology to join the department. They provide care for patients with a broad range of rheumatic diseases, offering patients diagnosis, treatment and when appropriate long term management of their condition. They see people with a full range of rheumatic conditions including:
- Inflammatory arthritis (e.g. rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, gout)
- Connective tissue diseases (e.g. systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), systemic sclerosis (scleroderma), myositis, Sjogren's syndrome)
- Vasculitis (e.g. ANCA vasculitis, Behcet's disease, giant cell arteritis)
- Metabolic bone disorders (e.g. osteoporosis, Paget's disease)
Our client is happy to issue Certificate of Sponsorships to suitably qualified overseas doctors however GMC registration is essential for this position.
Qualifications & RequirementsGMC registration is essential for this position. They welcome overseas doctors who require sponsorships and are prepared to issue Certificates of Sponsorship where appropriate.
