Job Description

The post-holder will leadspecific duties as part of the development of a multi-disciplinary team approach tocare within the specialty

Main duties of the job

The appointee should have a broad range of general ENT experience.

The appointee will be based at one primary site but expected to work cross site and undertake regular sessions at both Eastbourne District General Hospital and/or Conquest Hospital.

Theatres include pre / post op ward roundOPA session days and site TBCClinic templates set as 12 as per national guidance4 hours Admin & 4 hours SPA per week1:6 activity is cancelled to enable on site (hot week) activity 8-5 Monday through Friday1:6 on call is non-resident

Person Specification Qualification Higher & Qualifications
  • MB BS or equivalent
  • Membership or Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons
  • MD or equivalent BSE accreditation
Registration
  • Full Registration with GMC with a licence to practice
Training and experience
  • Wide experience in all aspects of Ear, Nose and Throat
  • Completed at least four years' full- time postgraduate training (or its equivalent gained on a part-time or flexible basis) at least two of which will be in a specialty training programme in a relevant specialty or as a fixed term specialty trainee in a relevant specialty; or o shall have equivalent experience and competencies
