Role Description
We are hiring a full-time, on-site Speciality Cook Level 4 (Indian Cuisine) to join our team at Bombay Corner in Delft. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Indian culinary traditions and will play a key role in preparing high-quality dishes, innovating recipes, and maintaining operational excellence in the kitchen.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a wide range of traditional Indian dishes
- Develop and experiment with new Indian recipes
- Oversee daily kitchen operations to ensure efficiency and consistency
- Maintain high food quality standards and portion control
- Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety compliance in the kitchen
- Collaborate with the kitchen team and assist in training junior staff
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in cooking Indian cuisine in a professional kitchen
- Deep knowledge of Indian spices, ingredients, and regional recipes
- Ability to innovate and contribute to menu development
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- High attention to detail and a passion for culinary excellence
- Food safety certification is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
