We are looking for a highly motivated, proactive physiotherapist to join our Physiotherapy team
You will deliver physiotherapy assessments and treatments within the Integrated Stroke Unit on the Western General site.
Candidates must display evidence of clinical experience in a variety of acute in-patient areas. Previous experience in acute neurology, neuro-rehabilitation, medicine of the elderly rehabilitation and respiratory would be desirable.
Ability to prioritise and discharge plan for a wide range of presentations is essential, as is clarity of communication and well-demonstrated organisational skills. Experience of supervision, mentorship and appraisal of other staff members / students is desirable.
The range of conditions and specialities encountered, and requirement for excellence in clinical reasoning and team working in this post at the Western General Hospital will allow the successful candidate to gain extensive and in-depth experience as a band 6 physiotherapist.
Physiotherapy Services support staff development through appraisal processes, supervision and CPD opportunities.
There is a regular weekend and overnight on-call commitment.
