Job Description
Overview

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK employing around 40,000 staff in a wide range of clinical and non-clinical professions and job roles. We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health care services to a population of over 1.15 million and a wider population of 2.2 million when our regional and national services are included.

Shift pattern

The shift pattern for this post is: Monday - Friday 08:30 - 16:30 (37 hours) OR 08:30 - 18:30 over 4 days (30 hours).

Role

We are looking for a skilled and passionate cardiac physiologist to join our dynamic team. The role would suit physiologists committed to continued development and who strive to provide the highest quality of patient care.

The RHC is the Scottish centre for cardiac surgery and interventional cardiology and the paediatric ECMO centre for Scotland.

Requirements

Applicants should have either a Degree in Cardiac Physiology or equivalent and relevant experience. The hours are variable over 4 or 5 days dependent on shift worked. The candidate will be expected, when qualified/experienced, to participate in a 24 hour on-call service. This post requires PVG Scheme Membership/Disclosure Scotland Check.
