Main duties of the jobWhat you'll do as a Specialist Neurodevelopment Practitioner
- Conduct high-quality autism assessments using gold standard assessment tools such as ADOS and ADI-R
- On average we look for 2 ADOS or 1 ADI-R assessment per day
- Deliver assessments for children, young people and adults
- Use your clinical expertise and judgement, providing accurate diagnosis and post-diagnostic recommendations
- Collaborate with a highly-skilled MDT
- Produce well-written clinical reports. You will have dedicated admin time to ensure you can keep on top of your workload
- Provide meaningful feedback and recommendations for clients
- Contribute to the development of the service
- Realistic expectations when it comes to the number of assessments delivered; we focus on quality and clinician wellbeing!

- Relevant registration with HCPC, NMC or SWE&SCW or SSSC
- Formal training in and experience delivering ADOS and ADI-R assessments, ideally online
- Ideally you will have assessed both children and adults
- A high level of written and verbal communication
- Excellent knowledge of NICE guidelines and DSM-5 criteria
