As one of theUKs largest providers of community-based Dermatology services, Modality LLP islooking to expand our existing team through the recruitment of experienceddermatology nurses and therefore support future growth of our communitydermatology services.

Main duties of the jobOur communitydermatology service manages a wide-range of dermatological conditions thatwould otherwise be referred to secondary care. Our team of consultants, GPwERsand specialist nurses are able to provide patients with rapid access to specialist opinion from a choice of clinic locations across Sandwell andBirmingham. This role will support the continued growth of the service enablethe service to offer access to a wider range of treatments within primary careand the community setting.
We strive todeliver exceptional standards of care within the community setting wherepatients are seen within 3 months from referral and referring GPs can accesstimely advice and guidance. Our service also incorporates a regularconsultant-led MDT which ensures that our clinicians are supported tocontinuously develop. The ability totravel between clinic locations will be essential.

Our service offer and expertise include:
- Over 15 years of experience of delivering community outpatient services
- Contracts with ICBs and hospital providers
- A diverse clinical workforce of consultants, GPs with extended roles, specialist nurses and allied health professionals
- Delivery of over 120,000 patient consultations per year
- Delivery of 1st consultations within a maximum of 4 weeks from referral from a choice of community locations, 7 days per week

Person Specification Qualifications Knowledge- Minimum of 3 years post registration experience
- A strong understanding of multi- disciplinary and/or multi agency working within a community setting.
- Competence in individual caseload management and able to prioritise own work
- Knowledge and understanding of psychosocial issues affecting patients with chronic illness
- Experience of working within a dermatology setting
- Experience of working within a similar environment within primary/secondary care
- Basic IT skills
- Ability to be flexible with working hours to meet the needs of the service
- Full driving licence and the ability to travel between service locations.
- Ability to work on own initiative and organise own workload with minimal supervision
- Exercises tact and discretion at all times
- Demonstrates initiative to handle any unforeseen events during a shift
- Demonstrates flexibility towards new working practices and towards working hours
- Risk management awareness and able to assess clinical risk.
- Able to work effectively in a team, supporting others and challenging colleagues views and attitudes when necessary.
- Able assess a situation, set priorities and problem solve quickly and effectively.
- Problem solving skills and ability to respond to sudden unexpected demands.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to re-prioritise.
- Highly organised individual who is able to manage multiple priorities at the same time.

- Experience of supervising and managing clinical teams

£45,000 to £55,000 a yearSalary offered is WTE and is dependent on experience
