Special Needs Teacher - Key Stage 2 - Moderate Learning NeedsAre you an experienced Special Needs Teacher with a passion for helping children reach their full potential? This warm and inclusive special school in Coventry is seeking a dedicated and creative Special Needs Teacher to teach a small Key Stage 2 class of six pupils with moderate learning needs, including Autism, MLD and Asperger's.This is a rewarding opportunity for a compassionate and adaptable teacher who can create a supportive and engaging learning environment where every child feels valued and encouraged. You will be supported by a team of skilled Teaching Assistants and a leadership team that truly understands the importance of nurturing both pupils and staff.Job Role:
- Teaching a small class of six Key Stage 2 pupils with moderate learning needs.
- Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons across the primary curriculum.
- Creating a positive, structured and inclusive classroom environment.
- Working closely with teaching assistants, therapists and parents to ensure each pupil's needs are met.
- Supporting pupils' academic progress, emotional development and social skills.
- Monitoring progress and contributing to personalised learning plans and EHCP reviews.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - Primary or SEND specialist.
- Experience teaching children with Autism, MLD or similar special educational needs.
- A calm, patient and adaptable approach to teaching.
- The ability to inspire confidence, curiosity and independence in learners.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
