Spanish Teacher - Rugby

About the role:

Justteachers Supply Agency is currently recruiting for a passionate and committed full-time Spanish Teacher to join one of our partner secondary schools in Rugby, starting in September 2026. This long term position is expected to run until the end of the academic year, with the potential to become a permanent role.

The school, based in Rugby, has been rated 'Good' by Ofsted and serves secondary-aged pupils. It offers a supportive and forward thinking environment, with a strong leadership team dedicated to staff development and student success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Planning and delivering engaging Spanish lessons that develop students' speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills
• Encouraging confidence in language learning through interactive and communicative teaching methods
• Assessing and monitoring student progress, providing regular feedback to support attainment
• Creating an inclusive and positive classroom environment that promotes participation and respect
• Supporting the wider languages department and contributing to extracurricular activities where appropriate

Pre-requisites:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience teaching Spanish at secondary level, ideally up to GCSE
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage learners of all abilities
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• A collaborative approach to working within a team
• Two professional references, ideally from an educational setting
