A lovely family based in Islington, London, is looking for a warm, reliable, and proactive Spanish-speaking nanny for a long-term live-out position, caring for their one-year-old daughter. This is a wonderful opportunity for a nurturing and organised nanny who enjoys supporting early development in a positive and caring home environment.

Job details

• Part-time position (3 days per week), approx. 8:30 AM - 6:30 PM (around 30 hours per week).
• Preferred schedule: Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday (flexibility to swap Wednesday for another day if needed).
• Salary: Open and competitive (DOE).
• Start date: Late August/Early September.
• Occasional travel and extra babysitting may be offered (optional and to be discussed with the family).

Role & Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, loving care at all times.
• Ensure a safe and stimulating environment.
• Plan and engage in age-appropriate activities (educational and recreational).
• Support developmental milestones through play and routine.
• Prepare healthy meals and snacks for the child.
• Assist with daily routines.
• Carry out light childcare-related housekeeping (tidying play areas, children's laundry, cleaning up after meals).
• Maintain clear communication with parents.

Requirements

• Native Spanish-speaking and fluent in English.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Experience with children around 1 year old.
• Paediatric First Aid (or willing to obtain before starting the position).
• DBS check.
• At least 2 references.
• Any other additional childcare training will be desirable.
