Job Description
Spa Manager - 5 Municipal Hotel & Spa MGallery

We're seeking an exceptional Spa Manager to lead a multi million-pound luxury spa operation within a prestigious 5 hotel environment. This role requires strong commercial acumen, a passion for excellence, and the ambition to continuously elevate performance, guest experience, and profitability.

Reporting directly to the Director of Operations and working closely with senior leadership, you will take full ownership of the Spa's performance and guest journey.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Leading from the front to deliver a world class guest experience, ensuring every visit is memorable, seamless and reflective of true 5 luxury
  • Overseeing a high value spa operation, driving commercial performance through strategic planning, revenue growth, and cost control
  • Developing and executing a forward thinking spa strategy, aligned with market trends and business objectives
  • Partnering with the Revenue team to analyse forecasts, identify opportunities and maximise profitability
  • Working closely with the Marketing Manager to ensure spend is targeted, effective and delivers strong ROI for the Spa
  • Continuously reviewing and evolving the treatment menu to keep the spa innovative, competitive and industry leading
  • Leading recruitment, training, and retention strategies to build a high performing, future ready team
  • Overseeing daily operations, including rota management, service standards and quality assurance
  • Collaborating with the Spa Operations Supervisor to coach, develop, and inspire the spa team, fostering a culture of growth and excellence
  • Taking ownership of financial performance, including budgeting, stock control and driving retail revenue
  • Ensuring full compliance with Health & Safety standards, including responsibility for the pool plant operation
What We're Looking For
  • Proven leadership experience within a luxury spa or high end hospitality environment
  • Strong commercial mindset with a track record of driving revenue and managing P&L performance
  • Deep expertise in spa operations, treatments and industry trends
  • Experience managing large, diverse teams with a focus on engagement, development and retention
  • A natural relationship builder, able to connect with guests and team members
  • Highly organised, detail oriented, and proactive in identifying opportunities for improvement
  • A confident decision maker with a positive, solutions focused approach
  • Passionate about delivering exceptional standards aligned with MGallery brand values
  • Ambitious, driven and motivated to take an already successful operation to the next level
  • Level 3 NVQ in Beauty (desirably Level 4)
  • Desirable to be Level 3 Pool Plant Trained
