Job Description
We are a busy, popular independent restaurant in Location serving fresh, high quality food. We are looking for an experienced, reliable and passionate Sous Chef to join our team immediately.
Responsibilities- Support daily kitchen operations, prep and full service
- Cook and present dishes exactly to our recipes and quality standards
- Supervise, train and motivate junior kitchen staff
- Manage stock, reduce waste and control food costs
- Ensure full compliance with food hygiene, safety and HACCP regulations
- Step up to run the kitchen independently when Head Chef is away
- Assist with menu updates and seasonal changes
- Proven experience as Sous Chef or senior Chef de Partie in a commercial kitchen
- Strong cooking skills, good knowledge of ingredients and presentation
- Food Hygiene Level 2/3 certified
- Calm under pressure, organised and a good team leader
- Flexible, hard working and reliable
