Sous Chef - The White Hart Hotel, Lincoln
We are looking for a talented and driven Sous Chef to join the kitchen team at The White Hart Hotel in the heart of Lincoln.
Working closely alongside our Executive Chef and Head Chef, this is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in a busy, multi outlet food operation, including the award winning 2 Rosette Antlers Restaurant.
Salary: £32,000 - £34,000 per year
About the Role
As Sous Chef, you will support the senior kitchen team in the day to day running of the kitchen, ensuring consistently high standards across all food outlets. You will be involved in service, prep, menu development, and maintaining quality and consistency throughout.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Executive Chef and Head Chef in all aspects of kitchen operations
- Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency
- Assist in the development of seasonal menus
- Lead and motivate junior team members
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards
- Contribute to a positive and professional kitchen culture
About You
- Previous experience as a Sous Chef or strong Junior Sous ready to step up
- Passion for fresh, seasonal food and high quality cooking
- Experience in a high volume, multi outlet or rosette level kitchen preferred
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Calm under pressure with a hands on approach
