Boxcar Marylebone / Baker & Deli is your neighbourhood spot for freshly made breakfast, quick lunches, and afternoon pick-me-ups. Our small but fast-paced kitchen delivers vibrant dishes throughout the day, while the counter is filled with freshly baked pastries and deli favourites.

We're excited to welcome an enthusiastic and dedicated Sous Chef to our team.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and motivate the kitchen team by fostering a positive environment and providing feedback and daily briefings.
  • Manage stock, control costs, reduce waste, and ensure delivery accuracy.
  • Oversee preparation, cooking, and plating to ensure consistent quality and presentation.
  • Maintain compliance with food hygiene, allergen regulations, and Health & Safety standards.
Ideal candidate
  • Ensures efficient operations and high food preparation standards.
  • Has a passion for preparing dishes based on seasonal ingredients, trends, and customer preferences.
  • Understands health and safety regulations and best practices in food hygiene.
