We're excited to announce the grand reopening of The Wilbraham Arms in Alsager. A beautifully refurbished pub with a brand-new look, elevated food offering, and a fresh opportunity to make your mark. As part of the Robinsons Brewery family, we're looking for an experienced and motivated Sous Chef to help bring our kitchen to life.
About the Role
As Sous Chef, you'll be a key part of our kitchen leadership team, supporting the Head Chef in delivering quality food, managing kitchen operations, and inspiring the team. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a new opening and shape the food experience from day one.
What You'll Do:
Assist the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations and menu execution
Lead, train, and motivate the kitchen team
Ensure high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene
Contribute to menu development with fresh, seasonal ideas
Manage stock, suppliers, and ensure cost-effective practices
What We're Looking For:
Previous experience as a Sous Chef or strong Junior Sous ready to step up
Passion for fresh food and seasonal cooking
Strong leadership and communication skills
A team player with a can-do attitude
Understanding of kitchen compliance and food safety standards
