Job Description
We're seeking a Sous Chef for our client's Relais Château property. The successful candidate will oversee the kitchen and kitchen staff, supervising all food preparation, ensuring an excellent customer experience, and being fully versed in our client's Relais Château best practices.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure that the kitchen and kitchen staff provide excellent customer service and consistent food preparation.
- Ensure that all food meets quality standards and is prepared according to the company standards.
- Keep the kitchen clean at all times.
- Ensure that all chefs are well trained in their respective specialties.
- Become familiar with guests' food preferences and dietary restrictions.
- Manage inventory levels of ingredients and supplies.
- Prioritize tasks to ensure efficient workflow and appropriate staffing levels.
- Check on the kitchen at the end of shifts.
