The role is focused on delivering an exceptional culinary experience for guests, providing personal service, and supporting the growth of the kitchen team.
What the role involvesThe Sous Chef supports the Head Chef in delivering a high quality menu, oversees food preparation and presentation, monitors stock and costs, and ensures smooth operations across the hotel and special events. Responsibilities include training and leading the culinary team, maintaining kitchen standards, managing suppliers, and collaborating on menu development.
Qualifications- Active experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a multi outlet rosette/Michelin hotel environment, with exposure to weddings, bespoke events, and private dining.
- Strong focus on precision, organisation, and attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive in a team environment and to go above and beyond in service and consistency.
- Competitive salary of £44,000 per annum plus a share of service charge.
- 28 days holiday per year (increases to 33 days with length of service) plus bank holidays.
