We require an experienced and enthusiastic cello teacher to join our Sounding Out team to start with us in the Summer Term (start date 25 April).

Sounding Out is The King's School, Canterbury's music outreach programme. The position will initially involve teaching three 45 minute group lessons (3 or 4 students per group) on eight Saturday mornings per term. Next year, this will increase to four 45 minute group lessons.
In addition to these group lessons, the role also involves preparing students for twice yearly showcase performances and being part of the Sounding Out team, working together to support the general musicianship of all students in the programme.
We currently offer violin, trumpet, cello and clarinet lessons and, from September 2026, will be expanding to include flute.
