We are recruiting a Sommelier to join an exceptional 3AA Rosette country house hotel in the heart of the Lake District, offering a fantastic opportunity within a highly regarded food and beverage team.

As Sommelier, you will work closely with the Restaurant Manager and senior team to deliver an exceptional wine and beverage experience for guests while continuing to develop your own knowledge and expertise.
This role would suit either an experienced Sommelier or a more junior front of house professional with WSET Level 2 who is passionate about wine and eager to learn within a high-level environment.
Personality, enthusiasm, and a genuine love for hospitality are just as important as experience.
Duties- Advise guests on wine pairings and beverage selections
- Maintain strong product knowledge across wine and drinks menus
- Support the smooth running of restaurant service
- Assist with wine ordering, storage, and presentation
- Deliver warm, professional, and knowledgeable guest service
- Continue developing wine knowledge and service skills
