Solutions Architect

As a Solutions Architect at AWS, you'll build technical relationships with customers of all sizes and operate as their trusted advisor, ensuring they get the most out of the cloud at every stage of their journey.

You'll manage the overall technical relationship between AWS and our customers, help them design and build some of the most scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud architectures and solutions. You'll understand the customer's needs and give prescriptive guidance on how to create business value with AWS technology. You'll lead activities such as architecture reviews, whiteboarding sessions, demos, and technical workshops. You'll collaborate with other teams such as account management, professional services, support, product teams, and the AWS partner ecosystem.

In this role, you will practice your creativity by linking technology to tangible solutions and educating AWS customers about the art of the possible. You will have the opportunity to define and create best practices, technical content, and new reference architectures (e.g., white papers, code samples, blog posts) and evangelize and educate about AWS technology through workshops, user groups, meetups, public speaking, online videos, or conferences.

This role is within the Benelux organization, working with Enterprise customers.

AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers, including the public sector.

Daily Responsibilities

1. Engage with customers to understand their needs and design tailored cloud solutions.
2. Lead architecture reviews, technical workshops, and demos.
3. Collaborate with internal teams and partners to ensure customer success.
4. Create technical content and reference architectures.

Qualifications

• Experience in technology domains such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, or data & analytics.
• Experience in design, implementation, or consulting for applications and infrastructure.
• Bachelor's degree, HAVO diploma, or equivalent.
• Fluent in written and verbal English.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in software development or Internet-related industries.
• Experience migrating or transforming legacy solutions to the cloud.
• Knowledge of AWS technologies.
• Cloud certifications such as Solutions Architect, Cloud Security Professional, or Cloud DevOps Engineer.
• Experience with Retail & E-commerce industries.
