Solution Architect - Hospitality Systems (Oracle Simphony/POS/Food & Beverage) - OUTSIDE IR35

We're looking for an experienced Solution Architect with deep expertise across hospitality technology, Oracle Simphony, point-of-sale platforms, and food & beverage systems. This is a strategic, customer-facing role where you'll shape end-to-end solutions for major hospitality brands, ensuring their operational, commercial, and guest-experience goals are fully supported by modern, scalable technology.

You'll work closely with product, engineering, and operations teams to design integrated architectures that bring together POS, payments, kitchen management, inventory, loyalty, mobile ordering, and wider enterprise systems.

Key requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Solution Architect within hospitality, retail, or food & beverage environments.
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of Oracle Simphony (configuration, integrations, deployment models).
  • Deep understanding of POS ecosystems, including payments, peripherals, and multi-venue operations.
  • Experience with F&B systems such as kitchen display systems, menu management, inventory, and ordering platforms.
  • Solid grasp of integration patterns (REST APIs, webhooks, Middleware, ETL, cloud services).
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong documentation, design, and architectural modelling skills.
  • A consultative mindset with the ability to influence, challenge, and guide decision-making.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead solution architecture for hospitality clients, with a focus on Oracle Simphony and connected F&B platforms.
  • Design scalable, secure, and resilient POS and restaurant-operations solutions across multi-site environments.
  • Translate business requirements into technical architectures, integration patterns, and implementation roadmaps.
  • Own end-to-end solution design across POS, payments, ordering, kitchen systems, inventory, loyalty, and reporting.
  • Define integration approaches using APIs, Middleware, and cloud services.
  • Partner with stakeholders across operations, IT, and vendors to ensure seamless delivery.
  • Provide technical governance, best practices, and architectural oversight throughout project life cycles.
  • Evaluate new technologies and contribute to the evolution of the hospitality systems landscape.

£550 per day (OUTSIDE IR35). London & 80% remote.
