Job OverviewWe are currently looking for a candidate with 2-5 years' PQE as a solicitor, legal executive or someone with equivalent experience as a personal injury legal advisor, to run a busy caseload of mixed fast track and intermediate track EL, PL and RTA personal injury cases and to assist in multi track claims.
The department has established a reputation for providing a quality and personal service which meets the needs of our clients. The team provides a very down to earth and approachable service working for a variety of clients, with a track record of achieving excellent results.
Responsibilities- Manage all client work allocated by the Head of Department.
- Ensure that all client work is progressed expeditiously and that the client is kept regularly informed on progress and on costs.
- Exercise high standards of client care in a professional and pleasant manner.
- Achieve set performance targets.
- Ensure the confidentiality and security of all of the firm's and client documentation and information.
- Maintain clear and precise communications with other personnel of the firm.
- Ensure good working relationships with external institutions and organisations.
- Law Degree (or equivalent); LPC qualification; Legal Executive qualification.
- 2 5 years PQE as a solicitor or legal executive or equivalent experience as a personal injury legal advisor within a law firm.
- Excellent IT and case management skills.
- Previous experience of working with case management systems an advantage.
- Be able to present a professional image at all times to clients and collaborators.
- Socially confident with good written and oral communication skills.
- Hardworking and able to work to tight deadlines.
