Job Overview

We are currently looking for a candidate with 2-5 years' PQE as a solicitor, legal executive or someone with equivalent experience as a personal injury legal advisor, to run a busy caseload of mixed fast track and intermediate track EL, PL and RTA personal injury cases and to assist in multi track claims.

The department has established a reputation for providing a quality and personal service which meets the needs of our clients. The team provides a very down to earth and approachable service working for a variety of clients, with a track record of achieving excellent results.

Responsibilities
  • Manage all client work allocated by the Head of Department.
  • Ensure that all client work is progressed expeditiously and that the client is kept regularly informed on progress and on costs.
  • Exercise high standards of client care in a professional and pleasant manner.
  • Achieve set performance targets.
  • Ensure the confidentiality and security of all of the firm's and client documentation and information.
  • Maintain clear and precise communications with other personnel of the firm.
  • Ensure good working relationships with external institutions and organisations.
Qualifications
  • Law Degree (or equivalent); LPC qualification; Legal Executive qualification.
  • 2 5 years PQE as a solicitor or legal executive or equivalent experience as a personal injury legal advisor within a law firm.
  • Excellent IT and case management skills.
  • Previous experience of working with case management systems an advantage.
  • Be able to present a professional image at all times to clients and collaborators.
  • Socially confident with good written and oral communication skills.
  • Hardworking and able to work to tight deadlines.
