Solicitor - Commercial Property - 2+ PQE - Middlesborough - £40,000-£50,000

Overview

My client, an established and well-regarded law firm in Teesside, are looking to recruit a commercial property solicitor with around 2+ years' PQE to join their growing property team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor who enjoys a varied commercial property caseload and is looking to develop their career within a supportive, collaborative environment.

The Role

• The successful candidate will handle a broad range of commercial property matters, including acquisitions and disposals of freehold and leasehold commercial property, as well as acting for both landlords and tenants on commercial leases.
• The role will also involve advising on lease renewals and variations, property finance and secured lending matters, and development-related work.
• You will provide general commercial property advice to a diverse client base, including SMEs, investors, and developers, and will have the opportunity to manage your own caseload with a good level of autonomy while working closely with experienced colleagues.

The Ideal Candidate

• The firm is keen to speak with solicitors with around 2+ years' PQE in commercial property who have experience handling a broad range of transactions.
• You should have strong technical ability, good attention to detail, and a proactive, client-focused approach to your work.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team are essential, along with an ambition to build long-term relationships with clients and referrers.
• Local market knowledge, or an interest in developing a presence in the Teesside area, would be advantageous.
