Software Verification & Validation Engineer - Belgium - Avionics

For one of our clients in Belgium, we're looking for a V&V Software Engineer to join the Avionics R&D team.

About the role

You will support the verification and validation of safety-critical avionics display products through rigorous testing and review activities, helping ensure compliance with industry standards and delivering high-quality software.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with development and V&V engineers to define and execute test setups and procedures.
• Apply internal processes and standards for the verification of safety-critical avionics software.
• Analyse software requirements, develop test strategies, and create test cases and procedures.
• Perform reviews to ensure product safety, quality, and compliance.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement and automation of test processes

Your profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, ICT, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of C and Python.
• Familiarity with electronic test equipment, such as digital multimeters and oscilloscopes.
• Experience with DO-178, RTOS, and Embedded systems is an advantage.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Fluent in English.
