Job Description:
As a Software Quality Assurance Engineer, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the quality, integrity, and reliability of our software products. Your independent assurance work will support the delivery of safe, secure, and high-performance systems used in critical global environments.
Your Impact
- Provide independent software assurance during design, development, testing, and release.
- Develop and maintain Software Quality Assurance Plans that align with project and contractual needs.
- Estimate and manage Software Quality Assurance resources across multiple projects.
- Evaluate and engage with suppliers/subcontractors to verify quality capability.
- Conduct audits and process assessments to ensure regulatory and internal compliance.
- Participate in software lifecycle reviews (e.g., design reviews, code inspections, release approvals).
- Perform conformity reviews and software configuration audits.
- Approve deliverable software prior to release.
What you'll bring:
- Hands-on experience in software quality assurance or a similar function.
- A degree or equivalent professional experience in Engineering, Software, Quality, or related complex/regulated industries.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex information into actionable insights.
- Familiarity with quality standards (e.g., AS9100, ISO9001) and continuous improvement frameworks.
- Exposure to airborne or safety-critical software standards (e.g., RTCA/DO-178C, AS9115, AQAP-2210) is a plus.
- Experience with tools such as DOORS, Dimensions, or other requirements/configuration management platforms.
- Previous background in software development or quality assurance is beneficial but not required.
