Job Description
Overview 
For a project we are looking for a Software Engineering Manager (f/m/d)
Responsibilities- Responsibility for the development and further development of software for cryptographic devices in the field of professional security technology
- Support of offer preparation and project execution through technical expertise
- Technical capture, analysis, and processing of customer requirements
- Transfer of a system architecture into software concepts and software architectures
- Creation and review of technical documents, system drawings, and concept papers
- Professional coordination and organization of the embedded software development team to achieve milestones and successfully complete work packages
- Further development of software engineering practices and ensuring the consistency of processes, methods, tools, and technologies in the department and development projects
- Continuous tracking & reporting of the progress of development to management including the necessary risk and mitigation management
- Successfully completed degree in computer science, communications/information technology, technical computer science, or a comparable field
- Many years of professional experience as a (embedded) software developer and software architect (mandatory)
- Profound knowledge of low-level software development with C/C++ including templates, as well as generic and component-based programming (mandatory)
- Experience in programming software for MPUs (ARM Cortex M and A) as well as MCUs from manufacturers Microchip and ST (desirable/advantageous)
- Experience using current development tools in an established CI toolchain (Jira, Git, Jenkins, Maven, SonarQube) including unit testing (mandatory)
- Experience with certification projects and their processes and workflows (including CC certifications) advantageous
- Profound experience in leading software development teams
- Profound experience in tracking and reporting progress of software development projects in compliance relevant contexts
- Profound experience in bigger projects
- Fluent German and English skills, both spoken and written, for smooth communication with your colleagues inside and outside the project (mandatory)
- Willingness to undergo a security clearance (Ü2) as soon as requested
