You will be joining the FlashSystem engineering team as a Graduate Software Engineer, where you will develop your software engineering and problem solving skills while learning new technologies and working with mentors and teams within the Storage organisation. The team is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workforce, where different thinking styles are valued for the strength and innovation they bring to teams.
YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES- Develop code and solutions using the latest enterprise level tools.
- Collaborate with a squad of 6 8 engineers to design, develop, test, and maintain high quality software for which you feel a strong sense of ownership.
- Use technologies and industry standard tools such as C, Java, Python, Git, Jenkins, and Docker.
- Learn from our team of 100+ IBM Storage developers in Hursley, plus hundreds more worldwide, to become an expert in our product.
- Work onsite in Hursley for team collaboration and hands on work with our products.
Bachelor's Degree
REQUIRED TECHNICAL AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERTISE- Passion for software engineering, which can be shown from experience in professional projects, educational projects, or personal projects.
- Ability to solve problems alone and as part of a team.
- Effective communication skills to explain technical problems and solutions to other engineers.
- Innovative solutions to problems.
- A direct and honest approach.
