Job Overview 
Job Title: Software Engineer III
Corp Title: Up to VP
Location: Bromley, London, UK
- Develop and deliver complex software requirements to achieve business goals.
- Ensure software meets functional, non functional, and compliance requirements.
- Design solutions with maintainability, integration, and testing in mind.
- Collect requirements and design solutions for the EMEA Non Linear Trading Desk in close collaboration with Traders, Quantitative Analysts, Risk Managers, and the existing technology team.
- Deliver front to back solutions with a focus on new Product Enablement and management of Intraday and End of Day Risk and P&L explanations.
- Extensive experience in software engineering, preferably in front office technology within Financial Services.
- Deep knowledge of Risk Systems, Trading Platforms, or Pricing Engines in Rates or similar Fixed Income asset classes.
- Strong understanding of front office workflows.
- Fluency in object oriented or functional languages (Python preferred, C#, Java, or C++).
- Track record of success in Agile environments (e.g. SCRUM, Kanban) and continuous integration.
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills under high pressure.
- Strong team player with excellent communication skills, comfortable interacting with business users.
- Degree in Computer Science, Physics, Engineering, Mathematics, or an equivalent analytical discipline.
- Experience with large scale risk platforms such as SecDB, Athena, or Quartz desirable.
