Software Engineer at DoiT

Our Software Engineer will be an integral part of our Engineering teams in EMEA. This role is based remotely in EMEA in one of our legal entities: the UK, Ireland, Israel, Estonia, or Spain. It is also available to contractors in other East European locations and Portugal.

The Opportunity

As a Full Stack Software Engineer, you will work on improving the DoiT Cloud Intelligence product and implementing new features. You'll collaborate with product managers and developers from other teams and participate in product-making decisions.

Responsibilities

• Implement features from proposal, through spec and implementation, to maintenance. Propose enhancements to the products.
• Review code and pull requests to ensure quality.
• Improve the health of the codebase, dedicating time to housekeeping to manage technical debt.
• Provide feedback during planning and discussions to identify challenges early.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of software development experience.
• Full Stack engineer or Frontend/Backend engineer eager to become a Full Stack.
• Solid understanding of programming languages, preferably React and Go; willingness to learn if not familiar.
• Experience developing solutions in Cloud environments or using Cloud services is advantageous.
• Commitment to continuous learning and high-quality web/SaaS development.
• Experience with Git/GitHub.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Self-organized, goal-oriented, confident, thorough, and tenacious.
• Adaptable in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
• Good sense of humor and team spirit.

Bonus Points

• BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience with Google Cloud or AWS in a production setting.
