Job Description

Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) vacancy for our Luxemburg based client in the Banking sector.

Your tasks:

  • Work closely with Java and JavaScript/TypeScript software developers to develop and enhance testing frameworks for software applications.
  • Collaborate closely with software developers to improve test coverage.
  • Conduct functional, performance, security unit and integration testing.
  • Ensure the highest level of product quality through rigorous testing.
  • Report directly to the Software Development Lead.

Your experience/knowledge:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Mathematics or a related field.
  • 4 years of professional experience in SDET, focusing on REST API and Web UI testing.
  • Strong programming skills in Java, Python, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Good understanding of REST APIs, Microservices, and software development principles.
  • Experience with testing frameworks such as JUnit, TestNG, Cypress, Playwright, and PyTest.
  • Language skills: English fluent

Your soft skills:

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Good communication and collaboration with Software Developers, DevOps engineers and Business Analysts.
