Software Developer

We're working with a hi-tech simulation/ data-analytics company which services the defence and security market. They are looking to expand their in-house software engineering capability with the addition of a Full Stack Software Developer.

This mid-level role that would suite developers with ideally 3-6 years' experience, please still apply if your experience levels fall's outside this.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Developing full-stack solutions for secure defence applications
• Working closely with software engineers, PMs, and security stakeholders
• Building reusable, testable and scalable code with high quality and performance
• Supporting ongoing system integration, testing, and documentation

What We're Looking For:

• Strong back-end development experience (ideally in Python), particularly working with both structured and unstructured data (e.g. SQL, NoSQL, data lakes).
• Proficient in modern front-end technologies (HTML/CSS, JavaScript, React or similar).
• Experience working collaboratively as part of a team to deliver software products.
• Proven experience in optimising systems for performance, scalability, and reliability.

Clearance Requirements:

• Due to the nature of the work, you must be a sole British to be eligible for SC clearance (or already hold it)
