Social Work Team Leader - Adult Disability Services 
A Social Work Team Leader role in adult disability services provides professional leadership to a multidisciplinary team supporting adults with intellectual disabilities across residential, respite, day, and community-based services. The focus is on person-centred planning, safeguarding, positive risk-taking, and empowering choice, independence, and self-determination.
The RoleAs Social Work Team Leader, you will provide clinical and operational leadership, supervise, support and develop staff and students, lead complex case management and safeguarding, promote a rights-based approach, and collaborate with individuals, families, advocates, and multidisciplinary colleagues.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical and operational leadership to the social work service.
- Supervise, support and develop social work staff and students.
- Lead on complex case management, safeguarding and adult protection matters.
- Promote a rights-based, person-centred approach across all services.
- Work collaboratively with individuals, families, advocates and multidisciplinary colleagues.
- Recognised Social Work qualification.
- Current registration with CORU.
- Minimum three years' post-qualification experience.
- Experience working with adults with intellectual disabilities, autism and/or complex support needs.
- Demonstrated leadership, supervision or senior social work experience.
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding vulnerable adults and disability services.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building and organisational skills.
- Full driving licence and access to transport desirable.
- Collaborate with experienced multidisciplinary teams including psychology, occupational therapy, speech and language therapy, physiotherapy and medical professionals.
