Mater Private Network is seeking a highly motivated Social Worker-Principle to join our team at Mater Private Network.

Purpose of post:

The Principal Social Worker is responsible for the delivery, management and development of Social Work Services which are consistent with and support the functions and service objectives of the Mater Private Network.

Professional Qualifications and Registrations, essential skills and knowledge

• Must be registered in the social workers Register maintained by the Social Workers Registration Board at CORU
• Have 5 years relevant post-qualification experience.
• Must have the requisite knowledge and ability (including a high standard of suitability, professional and managerial ability) for the proper discharge of the duties of the office
• Demonstrate clinical and professional knowledge to conduct role.
• Demonstrate capacity to deliver the Social Work service in an effective and resourceful manner with a model of patient centred care.
• Demonstrate the ability to manage and develop self and others in a busy work environment.
• Demonstrate innovation to deliver the social work service
• Demonstrate ability to empathise and treat others with dignity and respect.
