Social Worker LAC

We are looking for a Social Worker to join a Looked After Children's Team

This role requires a Social Work Qualification with a minimum of 3 years post qualified experience.

About the Team

This team of social workers play a crucial role in ensuring care plans are in place and tailored to the young person's aspirations and needs. They create and implement care plans whilst conducting regular statutory visits for the safety and welfare of the child in their placement. They also focus on supporting any transitions such as reunification with family, adoption, or independent living.

About you

A degree within social work (Degree/DipSW/CQSW) with a minimum of 3 years' experience is essential in order to be considered for this role. Experience working with within a fostering role is necessary. A valid UK driving license and vehicle is not essential to the success of this role but will help.
