Social Worker - Adult Mental Health (Community & Inpatient)

Social Worker adult mental health service, Co. Wicklow

Cpl Healthcare in partnership with our client, the HSE are recruiting for a Social Worker to work as part of a community based adult mental health service based in Bray or Wicklow Town. The role will also involve working with some inpatients in a mental health unit in Newcastle, Co. Wicklow.

The team works with service users and their families living with serious mental illnesses including schizophrenia, bi polar disorder, depression, anxiety and emotional dysregulation - up to 65 years of age and above.

The Social Work Service operates within a recovery focused model of service delivery and the social worker is expected to be familiar with and provide services within this model.

Essential Requirements

• A recognised qualification as a Social Worker with CORU registration
• Some postgraduate experience as a social worker with a significant amount of experience working in a mental health or similar setting. Placement experience will also be considered
• Experience working with a multi-disciplinary team
• Additional training or qualifications in therapeutic approaches to working with adults
