What you will do
  • Lead and manage the Adult Services team, providing guidance and supervision to social workers and other staff.
  • Oversee and ensure the delivery of high quality social work services to adults, adhering to statutory requirements and best practice guidelines.
  • Work closely with other teams and agencies to provide a coordinated approach to care and support for adults.
  • Manage case allocations, monitor workloads, and ensure cases are effectively managed within the team.
  • Contribute to the strategic planning and development of the service.
  • Maintain up to date records and reports, ensuring all documentation is completed accurately and timely.
  • Provide mentorship and support to staff, fostering a collaborative and positive working environment.
Requirements

You must possess a degree or equivalent in social work and have current registration with Social Work England. Recent managerial experience in a Team Manager, Deputy Team Manager, or Assistant Team Manager role is essential. You should have significant frontline experience within Adults Services, showcasing your capability and understanding of the sector.
