Title: Social Work Placement Officer
Job SynopsisThe Department of Sociology at the University of Limerick wishes to appoint a Social Work Placement Officer. The focus of the role is to support the creation and delivery of a new Masters in Social Work at the University of Limerick. The successful applicant will be a central member of the social work team within UL and will play a leading role, in conjunction with academic staff, to source and manage social work practice placements with TUSLA, the HSE, the Probation Service and NGOs.
Responsibilities- Support the development and delivery of the new Masters in Social Work programme.
- Source and manage social work practice placements for students.
- Coordinate with external partners such as TUSLA, HSE, Probation Service and NGOs.
- Work closely with academic staff to ensure placement quality and compliance.
