Thorn Baker's award-winning main contractor is looking for a Social Value Manager to join their team. With over 15 years of experience, they excel in projects from £5m to £25m, including complex, fast-track refurbishment and new build projects in the education sector, as well as design and build projects across various sectors nationally.

Your Responsibilities:

• Support the construction team by being the main link between the company and local communities, schools, colleges, and universities to demonstrate social value commitments.
• Manage contractual social value commitments, ensuring expectations are met and exceeded.
• Coordinate Local Employment Skill Plans (LESPs) to meet client requirements.
• Build relationships with external organizations to support local employment, skills development, and minimize environmental impact through local job opportunities.

Required Skills:

• Experience in the main contracting market in London or surrounding boroughs, preferably in a similar role or with relevant training and skills.
• Experience developing social value delivery plans and working with local partners on employment, training, and community engagement programs.
• Knowledge of Social Value Frameworks (e.g., TOMs, Impact Evaluation Standard) is desirable.
• Strong analytical and data management skills.
• Attention to detail, GCSE level education or equivalent, and proficiency in MS Office.
